The Master Controller regulates all our Flexstar fixtures, providing a temperature-safety system for DE,
CMH and LED ballasts and safely controlling the turn-on and turn-off
functions of bulbs. These features reduce the strain on your
ballasts and bulbs to ensure they achieve the longest
life-span and best performance possible.
After operation, the systems require
up to 30 minutes of cool-down time. To prevent damage
to hot bulbs, ballasts and controllers have a built-in
temperature-safety system.
Once turned off, ballasts take between 20 seconds and 5
minutes to turn back on, depending on bulb temperature.
